About Casey

Casey is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, holds several securities licenses for Series 7, 9, 10, 31, 63 and 66, and has nearly 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. After beginning his career at Edward Jones in 1999, he established Patrick Financial Group in 2004 in an effort to expand financial planning services to the families we serve. Today, Casey serves as president of finoBlue and offers expertise in areas such as advanced financial planning, portfolio management, and business development.

Casey is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and business administration. In 2004 he graduated from Oglethorpe University’s Certified Financial Planner program and earned his CFP® certification, and he then completed his Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM (CRPS®) designation in 2020 through the College of Financial Planning.

By being certified by the CFP® Board, Casey has taken the extra step to demonstrate his professionalism by voluntarily submitting to the rigorous CFP® certification process that includes highly demanding education, examination, experience, and ethical requirements.

With a strong belief in giving back to the community in which he serves, Casey has devoted a significant amount of his time to various community organizations such as the Vinings Cumberland Rotary Club, Vinings Village Civic Club, Cobb Community Foundation, and the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, serving in various leadership roles within each organization.

Casey grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and worked on charter fishing boats out of Destin until graduating from college. Soon after, in 1999, he met his best friend, Maureen and was lucky enough to marry her in 2002. He enjoys spending time with her, his two outstanding sons, and a daughter who amazes him every day. As a family, they spend much of their free time outdoors enjoying a variety of activities including boating, fishing, scuba diving, and hunting.
